Romance is in the air and the anticipation of a lifetime together comes to a crescendo in the rush during the months leading up to your wedding, causing you to wonder: is an engagement shoot necessary? After all, your wedding pictures share the beginning of your life together, right?
An engagement is important for several reasons. First, this time allows you to get comfortable in front of the camera with your photographer, and figuring out how you work best together before the wedding. Next, you can showcase your personalities in a more casual setting, and Thank You cards (shot early enough, we can also provide the images for your Save the Date cards and invitations). Images also add another dimension to your wedding album, chronicling the story from engagement to your wedding day.
Best of all, you can remember this special time forever, away from the throngs of loved ones and friends. This is your time together.
ENGAGEMENT OR COUPLES SESSION

Every wedding collection includes a complimentary engagement session. Our Engagement Sessions last about an hour. Most of our couples bring two-three outfits; something casual, and something a little dressier. Try to coordinate with each other instead of matching. The session time allows for about two locations. There may be a travel fee if the location is outside of a 30 mile radius of Reedsburg. The best time to do outdoor photography is typically two hours after sunrise, or two hours before sunset. Relax, have fun & trust us!
STYLIZED ENGAGEMENT OR COUPLES SESSION

Looking for a stylized scene? Then the Stylized Engagement session might be a great add on for you! We start with an in-studio consultation to determine the perfect direction for your stylized shoot. Then, on the day of your session, you’ll visit the salon for a hair and make-up appointment. While you are being pampered, we will be preparing your custom setup that is 100% personalized to the two of you! From props to backgrounds, floral, sweets and more – everything is planned and designed to create a specific scene just for you.
